Get ready to have all the heart eyes for this delicious mocktail! A dynamic duo of fizzy ginger ale and punchy pink cranberry juice make this drink balanced, delicious, and so festively fun! Make it extra cute with glitter ice cubes!

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and whether you’re celebrating with a romantic partner, friends, or just yourself, it’s the perfect excuse for a little festive fun.

I’m all about creating delicious and gorgeous mocktails and other fun drinks because we are an alcohol free household. 🙂 These fun drinks are just as celebratory as their boozy counterparts!

  • The ingredients are a match made in heaven! Crisp, slightly spicy, tart, and sweet. SO REFRESHING!
  • Easy to find ingredients.
  • A cinch to whip up!
  • Simple, but fancy!
  • Pink Cranberry Juice: You can also use another variety of cranberry juice, whether plain or one of the flavor duos. But if you can find pink cranberry juice, USE IT! The flavor is a bit different from red cranberry juice and pairs SO WELL with the ginger ale!
  • Ginger Ale: I highly recommend using a diet/zero sugar variety for this mocktail. We are definitely diet soda drinkers in our house, so we may be biased in the flavor profile, but we honestly prefer this drink with the zero sugar ginger ale. You still get plenty of sweetness from the cranberry juice, but it tastes more balanced when using the zero sugar ginger ale!
  • Edible glitter: totally optional and totally epic. You can add the glitter directly to the mocktail OR you can make glitter ice cubes. Here’s my go-to edible glitter!
  • Ice
  1. If making glitter ice cubes, start here. If not, you can skip to step 3. 🙂 First, make your glitter ice cubes! Sprinkle a bit of edible glitter into each cavity, then fill with warm water. Freeze until ice is set.
  2. Alternatively, you can use the cranberry juice to make the ice cubes if you don’t want the mocktail to get “watered down.” To do this, you will want to use unopened, room temperature cranberry juice. Sprinkle in the glitter, pour the juice into the mold, then freeze until the ice is set. At this point, you’ll want to store the opened cranberry juice as directed on the packaging.
  3. Combine equal parts ginger ale and cranberry juice into a cup.
  4. If you are adding edible glitter, you can do so here.
  5. Top with regular or glitter ice, and add a garnish if you so wish!
  6. Serve!
  7. Sip. Enjoy. Repeat.

Tips for Extra Festive Flair:

  • Presentation is Key: Use cute glassware and garnish with fresh fruit, herbs, edible flowers, or themed ice. It makes all the difference!
  • Get Creative: Experiment with different flavors! Add a splash of pomegranate or pineapple juice, or even some fruit nectar.
  • Make it a Mocktail Bar: If you’re hosting a party, set up a mocktail bar with different juices, sodas, and garnishes so guests can create their own delicious drinks! Use chalkboard signs or print offs to tell guests the approximate measurements to create this signature drink, the “Cranberry Kiss.”

How to make Mocktails for a Crowd

Make it for a crowd! Combine a 2-liter bottle of ginger ale and the 64 oz bottle of cranberry juice in a punch bowl, drink dispenser, or large pitcher. Add in edible glitter (optional) and top with ice! To be EXTRA fancy, you could also use a bag of frozen cranberries as the “ice!”

These mocktails are not only delicious and festive, but they also allow you to fully enjoy the celebrations without any regrets the next morning. So, raise a glass (of delicious mocktail, of course!) and cheers to a happy and healthy Valentine’s Day!

RECIPE

  • 4 oz (or 1 part) Pink Cranberry Juice

  2. Alternatively, you can replace the warm water with room temperature cranberry juice. Use unopened, room temperature cranberry juice. Sprinkle the glitter then pour the juice into the mold. Freeze until the ice is set. Store the opened cranberry juice as directed on its packaging.
  3. When ready to make the mocktail, combine equal parts ginger ale and pink cranberry juice in a glass.
  4. If you are adding edible glitter, you can do so here.
  5. Top with regular or glitter ice, and add a garnish if you so wish!
  6. Sip. Enjoy. Repeat.
