Have a kid with an October birthday? Give some of these party ideas a go for a delightfully fun Halloween party!

Whether your little has an October birthday, or maybe they just LOVE Halloween (we have one of those…my December birthday child recently requested a Halloween themed birthday party!), Halloween themed birthday parties can be so fun!
We threw a cute lil’ boo bash for a first birthday for one of my littles! It was so easy and very budget friendly. BONUS we added some of the party decor to our annual Halloween decor bin, which is a total win!

Halloween Party Food Ideas:
- Jack O Lantern Pumpkin Veggie Tray: you’ll need carrot sticks, cucumbers, and celery!
- Spooky Spider Ranch Dip: mix up your favorite ranch dip and slice up an olive to go on top. Cut in half lengthwise and use 1 half for the body. Thinly slice the remaining half into 8 sections for the legs!
- Spooky Spider Sliders: make any favorite sandwich (we did chicken salad) and add sliced olive rings on top of the rolls for the eyes! Can add eight pretzel sticks to each sandwich for legs (we skipped…I decided it was too much work!).
- Spooky Salsa: add your favorite salsa to a bowl and top with a sour cream or greek yogurt spider web and an olive spider! To get the spider web, simply put the greek yogurt or sour cream into a piping bag (or a ziploc bag with the corner cut off) and pipe your design! Not a fan of olives? Use plastic spiders to decorate!
- Witch Brooms: dunk pretzel sticks or wands into caramel or melted chocolate and poke halfway through the top of a jumbo marshmallow. Allow to set, then dip the marshmallow into caramel or melted chocolate and top with sprinkles!
- Witch Brew: a favorite tradition of ours! Add a soda, lemonade, or juice of choice to a cauldron and carefully add dry ice! Note: as much as I love diet soda, I’ve found it doesn’t work as well with the dry ice. Not as much bubbling.
